Since its funding in 2004, The Foundation has committed over $3,800,000 in grants to 64 colleges, universities and other not for profit institutions, in support of undergraduate study abroad. As far as we can ascertain, The IFSA Foundation is the nation's only foundation dedicated exclusively to strengthening study abroad.
Please note: The IFSA Foundation has a strong bias toward the support of semester and full year study abroad; grants are given only to institutions not individuals; scholarship grants are not tied to the participation of students under the auspices of any particular program or institution.
